It's 4 on Friday. I've worked ALL WEEK preparing the reports. X has one job; uploading the reports. He only ever has one job with this process any more. I've pretty much taken over the other part of his responsibility because he kept screwing it up. Case in point this quarter. Anyway...
He loaded 6 of the 12 reports we had ready to go. I was ONLY supposed to load what I could get done by 4 on Friday; my regular quitting time. He has been told REPEATEDLY that he is supposed to stay to make sure this process runs smoothly. Yeah. Didn't happen.
So, now it's 4:30, he's gone because he's supposed to leave early on this particular Friday, and I can't get one to load. *bangs head on desk* It's been one of the worst days so far these past few months. I'm frustrated, tired, know that I'm going to have to clean up dog doo when I get home. She just hasn't been able to hold it if we have to stay much 4:30 or 5 lately. Maybe it's the food? *shrugs*
Nervous breakdown ensues. Maybe it's just me. But when my BOSS tells me to stay late, I'm going to check to make sure it's okay to leave before I even THINK about leaving. It's the LAST quarter we can bill on certain accounts and you're just gonna leave?? WTF??
I was so (chose any of the following that apply) frustrated, tired, pissed off, over worked, under-appreciated. *sigh* I seriously should be in jail. It's surprising that I DID.NOT kill him come Monday. Or any day this week for that matter.
Though I did feel some satisfaction when I found out the he loaded were the wrong ones and he had to reload. AND I felt satisfaction when BM1 and BM2 went into his office and closed the door for about an hour. I have found quite a few errors in his processes this week. It's not comforting and only adds more work for me because I can't trust him to fix it. I mean, if he didn't find the error in the first place, how in the world is he supposed to find a method to fix it?
*sigh*
I vent so I DON'T actually wind up in jail with a crap alibi.
I'm watching Trouble with the Curve. I seriously and truly wish I could spout off stats like she does. I just completely and entirely lack the brain power for that. I can ramble acronyms until there's no tomorrow and discuss how fund cites, SUE's and overhead tracking works, but I can't tell you who pitched what inning of what World Series in 19XX. And I wish I could. I LOVE sports. LOVE watching it. Know at least a little bit of each sport. But just can't remember who did what when.
Yes I'm rambling. Yes, I've been drinking my dinner...again. Lately, it's the only way I can shut my brain off so I can sleep. Sad. I know.
On to the recipe, before I just ramble on to pages and pages and pages.
