Have you lost your cheese?

So, I took this online survey about cheese.  I was truly hoping to just get a sample of cheese for free in the mail.  Well....I'm not sure if that's going to happen or not.  Anyway, they called me and asked if I'd be willing to participate in a cheese research thingy.  She didn't actually SAY thingy, but I've slept since then and can't remember WHAT she called it.

I received a log in to the research website this week and it truly is ALL about cheese.  What brands do you buy?  Why?  What consistency, size and shape IS the cheese when you eat it?  When, where, why, how, what, and with whom do you eat cheese?  How did you find these brands?  It's like This is Your Life....except Cheese is the star and I'm the person who found them at the grocery store when I was 22 and we've been BFFs ever since.  *snort*

But it did make me stop and think...the last question to answer today was...  *drum roll*

What if you could no longer eat cheese?  Like, it vanished from your diet forevah!!  Yeah...I think I'd look like that.  Horrified to say the least.  I mean, when I was growing up they called me Garfield cause I LOVED lasagna and would eat it every day if I could.  I mean...wouldn't you?  That cheasy, tomato-y, pasta-y goodness that is baked to perfection with crunchy noodles and browned CHEESE topping...  *drool*

I'd have to find about 1500 new recipes for my collection.  No more cheesecake experiments!  Blasphemous!  No nachos....Caesar salads, Parmesan crusted ANYTHING.  Soup?  No classic french onion, broccoli cheddar, loaded baked potato.  No Philly cheesesteaks!!  Grilled cheese sammies!  I mean...ENDLESS numbers of comfort foods poofed.  MAC AND CHEESE!  GONE!  *sobs*  I just don't even want to think about it!!  Can't imagine it and don't want to have to deal with it.  What if I suddenly became lactose intolerant?  My culinary life would be over!  Yes...I am a tad dramatic today.  But seriously, I'd have to start from scratch as far as any cooking and baking goes.  Thank MACY I'm not lactose intolerant and cheese still exists!  *happy dancing*
